Crystal Smith, APN, CNP

Crystal, her husband Tyler and their four children live in Bloomington, IL. She joined Harold Nord, M. D., OB-GYN in June of 2000. Crystal attended and majored in Biology at Greenville College in Greenville, IL and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mennonite College of Nursing in Bloomington, IL. Her Master of Science in Nursing was completed at Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has a special interest in women’s healthcare and has completed specialized course work in women’s healthcare. She has also received certification in surgical assisting. Crystal provides care for women with chronic and acute illness. She values the patient’s needs including physical, spiritual and emotional. She promotes the patient’s health through a variety of functions, including: annual physical exams, gynecological exams and evaluation of acute problems, sports physicals and patient education. Crystal provides care for the obstetrical patient throughout the antepartum period.
